Youth Engagement

Neighborhood Leadership Institute is the lead agency for youth engagement and they facilitate the engagement of a diverse group of youth leaders from Cuyahoga County.

Neighborhood Leadership Institute also facilitates the active involvement of diverse groups of youth leaders from Cuyahoga County. Their involvement not only includes planning the work but putting the youth in positions where they actually do the work.  Special training is given that promotes the development of equitable partnerships among youth, caring adults and organizations. MyCom has taken special care that there are a number of ways to gather input from the young people and to actively involve them in all aspects of this movement.In doing so, Neighborhood Leadership Institute provides MyCom youth structured settings to acquire new skills and adaptable strategies to further develop leadership opportunities.

As the lead agency for youth engagement, Neighborhood Leadership Institute ensures youth voice is heard, celebrated and implemented. That is the MyCom way. That is our Commitment to our Community.
