Deadline for proposals has been extended until 4:00pm, November 1, 2016. Proposals are to be mailed or hand-delivered to the MyCom Intermediary at the address above. Any proposal received after the time and date specified above will be returned unopened to the sender.
Questions must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions will be answered as they arrive, and answers and questions are posted below. We are excited to open up the MyCom Neighborhood RFQ to formally expand the MyCom network. Proposals with be reviewed by a team of external stakeholders. Notifications will be mailed the fourth week of November 2016.
Questions & Answers:
Q1: Are there samples of statements of interest from key neighborhoods? How long should they be? What do partners need to commit at this point? Should a description of the partners be included?
A1: The neighborhood partners lengths of statements of interest vary with each MyCom neighborhood. There is no set example for an applying organization. The neighborhood mobilization section has a great overview of what is expected of those partners.
Q2: is there funding to staff this program?
A2: At this point there is no funding associated with this RFQ.
Q3: Is there funding for meeting supplies or food?

Q4: Does the lead agency provide funding for neighborhood partners?

Q5: Is the reporting and communication software provided or a cost?
A5: The reporting software is provided at no cost.
Q6: Why would an organization choose to join the MyCom network?
A6: The MyCom network neighborhoods will have access to opportunities and technical assistance in supporting youth engagement and development within their communities, as well as network support to leverage resources for a collective impact.
